Dr. Xuan Pham is the current Program Director of the Nuclear Medicine Residency Program.
Prior to moving to Ottawa, Dr. Pham was a Clinical Director of the Nuclear Medicine Department at Ste-Croix Hospital in Drummondville, Quebec, which is affiliated with the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke (C.H.U.S.). He maintains his hospital privileges at that institution. Previously, he was a Member of the Medical Staff in the Nuclear Medicine Department at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Sherbrooke in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
Dr. Pham received his Medical Degree from Sherbrooke University Faculty of Medicine in Quebec. He trained in the Nuclear Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency program at C.H.U. Sherbrooke, Royal Victoria Hospital, and Montreal Childrenâ€™s Hospital. He holds a Nuclear Medicine Specialist Certificate in the Provinces of Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick, as well as with the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
Dr. Pham is currently an Assistant Professor with the University of Ottawa, in the Division of Nuclear Medicine, Department of Medicine at The Ottawa Hospital. He is Co-Chair of The Ottawa Hospital Radiation Safety Committee (TOHRSC), maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and patients at TOH and collaborating with researchers for the safe use of radioactive substances.
