  1. Describe the discovery and basic science of the PCSK9 molecule
  2. Discuss the basic clinical chemistry of circulating PCSK9 levels
  3. Describe the mechanism of cholesterol lowering through PCSK9 inhibition
  4. Interpret the data from clinical trials of 2 PCSK9 inhibitors, evolocumab and alirocumab
  5. Discuss the indications for the use of PCSK9 inhibitors
