Xpert TB testing in Nunavut 

Educational Objectives:

1. To review TB epidemiology and active TB diagnostics in Nunavut

2. To present a recently completed prospective pragmatic study using a new test (Xpert MTB/RIF) that can diagnose active TB in 2 hours

3. To discuss the feasibility, test accuracy and impact on TB disease of Xpert MTB test in Iqaluit, Nunavut
