The Role of the Hospital in the Care of Patients with Advanced Dementia

Educational Objectives:

  1. At the end of the rounds, participants will be able to describe the impact of hospitalizing patients with advanced dementia on patients, family, and health services utilization outcomes.
  2. Upon completion of the rounds, participants will be able to better manage hospitalized patients with advanced dementia.
