Another Successful Medical Student Career Night

It was a packed house in the Atrium of Roger Guindon Hall recently as 100+ gathered for another great Medical Student Career Night.

13 of the Department’s finest fielded questions about their subspecialties from 1st and 2nd year medical students at a recent Department of Medicine event. Sponsoring Medical Student Career Night has become a yearly commitment by the Department as it recognizes the value of¬†candid one-on-one discussions between our physicians and medical students about the realities of choosing a career path in one of Medicine’s 17 subspecialties.

Many thanks to the uOttawa Internal Medicine Interest Group Execs for their contributions to the evening and to Drs Wells, Forgie, Gregoire, Asmis, Dowlatshahi, Beeker, Gauthier, Sogbein, Yokom, Abunassar and Code for donating their valuable time.

Many thanks to all of the medical students who filled out the feedback forms. They help us improve the event year after year.

The winning numbers for the uOttawa bookstore gift certificates are 870160, 870146, 870174, 870165. Please bring your ticket to Tracy Serafini Room M1846, Executive Suite of the Department of Medicine, main floor of the General Campus (off of the cafeteria corridor) to claim your prize.
