Educational Objectives:

  1. To discuss the expectations of participation in global health opportunity locally and internationally, where does WHO weigh in?
  2. To review the educational value for our trainees within the Department of Medicine.
  3. To highlight some of the exemplary activities within the Department of Medicine – demonstration of leadership, advocacy and collaboration beyond our borders.
  4. To discuss ways that Department of Medicine members could get involved.
