2012 Barnett Lecture: Peri-operative stroke, small strokes and NA-1

Educational Objectives:

  1. Participants will gain a greater understanding of peri-operative stroke.
  2. Participants will understand the POISE trial.
  3. Participants will understand the role that MR imaging plays in diagnosing stroke.
  4. Participants will be better able to judge the role that stroke plays in peri-operative outcomes.
