$828,415 in HSFO grants awarded to Division of Cardiology physicians

Congratulations to 8 members of the Division of Cardiology for receiving, in total, close to $1M in Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario (HSFO) grant awards – a true testament to the Division’s commitment to research.

77 of the 250 Grant-in-Aid applications received by the HSFO were offered funding by the Allocations Committee. Final budgets were assessed using a four-tiered system based on on the applications’ final rankings in the Scientific Review process.

Special congratulations to Dr. Darryl Davis who received two Heart & Stroke and one CIHR Grant. Of note, Dr. Davis also had the #1 grant among the 250 submitted in the Heart & Stroke this year.
