Nuclear Medicine residency program gets approval

Congratulations to the Division of Nuclear Medicine for being granted “new approval” accreditation status from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. While the approval came back in June of 2010, the program officially began on January 1, 2011 with the arrival of the first resident, Dr. Stephen Dinning and program coordinator, Mrs. Bilquis Hyder Ali (pictured above).

This 5 year program is only the ninth in Canada approved by The Royal College. We commend Dr. Laurent Dinh, Program Director (above) whose dedication and considerable efforts have contributed to this academic achievement.
